Our Client in Kuwait (Hospital in Kuwait) is currently looking for Family Medicine with 5 years of experience in multi-specialty
hospitals of metro cities –

• Salary Offered will be :1000 KD to 1500 KD (Depends on the Experience )

• Transportation Allowance : 100 KD

* Accommodation Allowance : 250 KD to 350 KD

If u have Western Qualification Allowance will be given for the same 150 KD Extra

• Working Hours : 8 hrs

Qualification Required : DNB in Family Medicine / MD in Family Medicine / Diploma in Family Medicine

Responsible for the diagnostic and treatment of primary healthcare centre’s

patients by conducting required examination and treatment, taking and

reviewing medical history, requesting diagnostic tests, prescribing

medications and referring to specialist doctors (if needed).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

This section describes the primary duties and responsibilities to give an

accurate, complete picture of the job.

Policies & processes

▪ Implement GP Clinics policies and follow the set processes in order to

achieve the Department’s objectives.

General Practice Activities

▪ Provide appropriate curative, preventive and rehabilitative health care to

patients in line with the best available evidence, and ensure that the

delivered care is quality assured , value driven, and within the regulating

legal boundaries.

▪ Responsible for referring diagnosed patients to specialist doctors and

governmental hospitals as per the identified case and in accordance with

regulations & laws.

▪ Liaise with primary healthcare center staff including other Physicians,

non-clinical staff and healthcare professionals in patient conditions and

treatment.

▪ Responsible for the judicious and rational requests of justified

investigations for the best interest of patient in a cost effective manner

(e.g. laboratory tests, radiological investigations, and other diagnostic

procedures).

▪ Utilize and interpret history, records, reports, test results, or

examination findings to correctly diagnose the problem(s) of patients, and

consequently tailor the appropriate management.

▪ Manage the off-site treatments of patients by prescribing suitable

medication with correct dosage, recommending preventive care and enforcing

health promotion.

▪ Handle basic medical treatments appropriately, such as injections, minor

operations, immunizations, wound dressing and stitches etc., and oversee the

post treatment care provided by nursing services team.

▪ Recognize own limitation and handle difficult cases, ensure proper

treatment is provided according to each case, and report difficult cases to

relevant stakeholders as required without jeopardizing the safety of

patients.

▪ Provide appropriate counselling to patients on diet, nutrition, exercise

and other lifestyle habits to prevent or enhance recovery from illnesses.

Work Experience

▪ For Registrars: 3 years of clinical experience in the same or related

field.

▪ For Specialists: 9 years of clinical experience – 3 of them after

obtaining the PHD Degree or fellowship / board certificate

▪ For Consultants: 15 years of clinical experience – 9 of them after

obtaining the PHD Degree or fellowship / board certificate
