Job Description
The Manager, Procurement oversees and manages corporate spend and suppliers associated with Transportation, Infrastructure and/or Shared Services material goods and services (capex, operating). Monitors compliance of the Corporate Procurement Policy.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, procure and sustain a service provider network to meet or exceed the requirements of the company; network must support cost controls, performance metrics, capacity requirements, company growth and business continuity
- Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment and supplies from vendors; drive negotiations to control costs
- Support current and future financial targets and the refinement of current and future strategic and financial objectives
- Evaluate supplier quotes and services: determine most desirable supply source to best meet company needs
- Analyze and recommend innovative processes and/or technologies to provide value based sourcing.
