2. Knowledge and understanding of construction management standards and techniques.
4. Familiar with relevant civil engineering design software (STAD Pro, SAP2000, ETAB)
for designing reinforced concrete & steel structures and piling foundations.
5. Minimum 10 years experience of working in multidisciplinary engineering design
office as civil and structural design engineer. Should have developed sound
understanding and judgement about the structural analysis and design procedures.
Design experience should include analysis and design of foundations. Should be able
to interpret the geotechnical investigation report with respect to foundation design.
6. Familiar with international codes and standards, especially the American codes and
ASTM standards. Exposure to Chinese codes and standards will be an added plus.
7. Moderate ability with AutoCAD.
8. Ability to evaluate designs.
9. Writing accurate technical reports.
10. Supporting any procurement processes.
11. Keeping up to date with industry best practice.
12. Ability to work in a multi-discipline team, including non-engineers and attend meetings
and communicate effectively in English language with the design consultants and
clients.
13. Setting out Project works in accordance with Drawings & Specification.
14. Computer and software packages usage.
