Roles and Responsibilities

Carry out routine analysis of crude oil, boiler feed water, condensate, effluent, fresh and RO water samples

Should have thorough knowledge of sampling & Analysis procedure for crude oil, water (drinking/service/STP/OWS/DM/RO) and gas samples as per standard methods like ASTM, IP etc. Knowledge of chemical handling, MSDS, Compatibility of chemical and reactions etc.

Perform Lab Instrument calibration and Primary maintenance of modern laboratory equipment and troubleshooting the same.

Prepare & maintain testing & analysis reports and up keeping records/documentation. Exposure to Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS) and knowledge on applicable statutory norms would be added advantage

Support site team in handling emergency situations (e.g. Fire-fighting, providing First Aid etc.) And comply with HSE requirements of company while on duty.

Qualification & Experience

B.Sc. / M. Sc. (Chemistry)

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for Lab Chemist
