Role purpose and scope:

Technically contribute to FPGA design, verification & validation and technical documentation of design/test results.

Performance Areas:

• Contribute independently to FPGA design

• Provide reliable estimates for the work to be performed and identify technical risks

• Ensure performance with expected quality and within schedule.

Technical Experience

• Strong knowledge in RTL(FPGA/SOC/IP) design;

• Coding experience for at least 2 years in VHDL or Verilog

• Experience working in Xilinx/Altera/Microsemi architecture

• Experience in protocol implementations such asAXI/AHB, I2C, SPI, RS422, ARINC 429/717/818 etc.

• Experience in memory control interfaces such as NVRAM, Flash, DDR2/3 etc.

• Experience with FPGA connectivity through interfaces such as PCI Express, 1G/10G Ethernet or SERDES high-speed 

   seriallinks

• Comprehend RTL development cycle:synthesis/implementation reports,performing analysis, resource estimation, 

   and functional verification

• Experience in writing TCL/Perl scripts for automation of testing

• Expertise in trouble-shooting and debugging FPGA implementations

• Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

• Ambition to build career in global engineering services industry

• Coding expertise in VHDL

• Desire to work in technically challenging projects on robust embedded systems

• Educated from top/premier engineering institutions

• Post-graduate in Embedded Systems, Electronics or Avionics Engineering or related subjects

Industry Experience:

  Electronics Design Engineering Services, R&D/Engineering for domains such as Aerospace, Defense, Space or     

  Transportation
