Role Purpose and Key accountability
Reconciliation of all ledger and Bank Accounts utilized for all types (Pay-in / Pay-out / Vendor payment / Salaries / expenses etc)
Identify issues in unreconciled debits / credits and get them closed in coordination with the dependent departments
Complete the task with 100% accuracy within defined TAT
Manage teams and vendor
Training teams and vendor for the right method and efficient ways of reconciliation
Analyzing RCAs and enhance controls by way of exception reports, system enhancements and/or process changes
Manage internal, Statutory and regulatory audit for the department
Manage analytics projects for automation and increasing efficiencies
Anchor monthly GL reviews with Finance
Coordinate with all stakeholders to complete the stipulated tasks effectively
Regular review of process and controls
Knowledge :
Knowledge of Accounting and Book Keeping (Preferably Commerce Graduate with interest in Accounts)
Knowledge about bank Reconciliation
MIS Management
Knowledge of IRDAI regulations, RCSA, COSO and SOX principles
