Job Information – Nurses
Requirements:
• Candidate must have at least GNM or BSC nursing.
• The job requires both Male and Female applicants.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience is required for this position
• Fresher’s can also apply.
Responsibilities:
• Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
• Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
• Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems
• Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
• Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
• Treat medical emergencies
• Administer workloads
• Follow care regulations and standards
• Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities of Radiographer:
To undertake Radiographic and Imaging examinations as required.
• To maintain a high standard of Radiography.
• To take part in on-call service as required.
• To ensure that the three principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimisation (ALARA) and dose constraints/limits are adhered to.
• To take part in routine daily inspection of equipment and quality assurance procedures.
• To be aware of own limitations in terms of expertise and experience and not to be afraid to ask for assistance or advice from more senior staff.
• To follow directions of RSM, Consultant Radiologist, Clinical Specialist, more experienced staff and departmental protocols where applicable.
• To keep up-to-date with current techniques and developments in Radiographic and imaging procedures and to take part in in-service training as required.
• To take responsibility for the general cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the Department, with specific responsibility for their own work area. To familiarize themselves with current infection control procedures.
Responsibilities of Lab Technician:
• Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labeling; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
• Maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
• Serves as technical resource by participating in staff training; answering questions of other professionals; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Identifies and communicates abnormal patient conditions by alerting supervisory personnel, the pathologist, the patient physician, or nurse; reporting mandated information to the public health department or other designated officials.
• Follow care regulations and standards.
• Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team
